Pamela Hensley was born on October 3, 1950 in Los Angeles,
California, USA and is one of those rare screen stars who grew up
in the heart of Los Angeles. Her father still maintains a thriving
veterinary practice on Coldwater Canyon, where his patients include
Pamela's Persian cats, "Hot Tin" and "Roof." She attended the
Argyle Academy, then won an audition with the world-famous Royal
Academy of Dramatic Arts in London. After three years of intensive
theatrical training, she felt she was at last ready to challenge
her home town. Universal signed her to a seven year contract,
followed by choice roles in such leading dramatic TV series as
"Columbo," "MacMillan and Wife," "McCloud" and "The Rockford
Files." Producer Norman Jewison joined the growing list of Hensley
admirers and starred her as James Caan's live-in lover in the
futuristic fantasy, "Rollerball." Next came "Doc Savage," in which
whe was an exotic Indian maiden who saved the hero's life.
