Annette Haven
Born: Dec 1, 1954
Annette Haven is considered a legend in the business of porn and ironically something of a feminist. She worked when adult films were still shot on film and not videotape. Before entering adult films, Haven found work in a variety of fields, nurse's aide, exotic dancer and working in a massage parlor in the San Francisco area. She worked on her first film in the mid 1970s and was usually cast as an angelic looking virgin or femme fatale. Not only was she considered one of the best looking women in the industry, she could act too as evidenced by her adult film best actress award from "A Coming of Angels." Her feminist traits seem strange considering the movies she made, but she refused to do scenes that included bondage, violence or "moneyshots." She even turned down a part in "The Howling" because of its excessive violence. She did however do a part in "Body Double," proving she could go mainstream. Haven starred in many adult classics like "Barbara Broadcast," "V-the Hot One," and "A Thousand and One Erotic Nights." She retired from adult films as a legend, in the late 80s and lives in Mill Valley, Calif. with her husband.
