Ileanna Simancas was born in Caracas-Venezuela, and six months later began her acting career debuting in a TV show. The daughter of two Latin America movie and TV stars Jean Carlo Simancas and Martha Mijares began studying acting before she could walk. She continued to work strictly in TV until age seven when her film career began. Being the daughter of the owner of one of the most prestigious Models agency in her country, Ileanna was introduced to the fashion world, as well as the acting, since very little. After finishing High School in Caracas, she began to pursue higher education abroad. After studying English in Georgia, she returned to South America and continued her education in Bogota-Colombia. She focused on Journalism with the aspirations to become a War Reporter. All the while continuing her devotion to her first love, the Dramatic Arts. Her passion for acting brought her to USA for the second time when she began to work on a "Novela" for Univision.
