Stacey Dash was born in the Bronx, New York, on January 20, 1966. Stacy new that she wanted to act, from an early age. At an early age Stacey began to act professionally. Regularly appearing on The Cosby Show, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and also St. Elsewhere. At 22, she made her feature film debut in Moving, playing Richard Pryor's unwilling teenage daughter. Four years later she was in Mo' Money, with Damon Wayans. In 1994, she starred with Mark Wahlberg in Renaissance Man. In 1995, she did the provocative erotic thriller _Illegal In Blue (1995)_ and won the role of Dionne, in the classic comedy Clueless. Playing Dionne brought the actress fame. She went on to star in the UPN sitcom, Clueless. During that time, she completed Oliver Stone's Cold Around the Heart, and also the independent film _Personals (1998/I)_ . After leaving 'Clueless' in 1999, Stacey has recently appeared in The Painting and Paper Soldiers.
