Brigitte Nielsen was born in Rødovre, Denmark on 15th July 1963. In 1979, she moved to France and Italy where she began her modelling career. In 1984, the Italian producer Dino De Laurentiis contracted her for the film Red Sonja with Arnold Schwarzenegger. The following year, she met Sylvester Stallone and, in December 1985, she married him. Meanwhile, she shot three other films: Rocky IV, Cobra and Beverly Hills Cop II directed by Tony Scott and together with Eddie Murphy, Paul Reiser and Chris Rock. In July 1987, they divorced and Gitte recorded an LP called: "Everybody tells a story" and sang with Falco a song, "Body Next To Body". In the 90s, she acted in many films, such as, 976-EVIL 2: The Astral Factor (1991) Fantaghiro' 2 (1992) (TV) and its sequels, The Double 0 Kid (1992) Chained Heat II (1993) Galaxis (1995) with Sam Raimi, Compelling Evidence (1995) She's Too Tall (1998) with Corey Feldman and George Hamilton and the last Doomsdayer (2000) . In recent years she became interested in the music world, doing a duet with the drag-queen Rupaul, "You're no lady" (2002).
