Melody Anderson
Born: Dec 3, 1955
Melody Anderson was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Melody is probably best known for "Firewalker" with Chuck Norris and Louis Gossett Jr. or perhaps from the "Manimal" television series. Some might remember her from the very awful "Flash Gordon" flick from 1980. Melody had a pretty consistent career for about 12 years. She was on a bunch of television series, a gaggle of guest shots, a whole lot of television movies, and also a good number of feature films. About 1994 she dropped out of sight and has not been seen since in any film or television project. Melody gave up acting to become a well respected Substance Abuse Expert. She has been lecturing worldwide on many diverse topics, including (but not limited to) "The Cycle of Addiction, Sobriety, Relapse and Recovery", "Detaching with Love", and "Building Healthy Boundaries: You're Worth it!". Because of her experience and understanding of the specific needs of the film community, she was recently invited to consult on a television movie about women and addiction.
